What is difference between HTML and PHP?

PHP and HTML work closely with eachother, but they are not at all the same. HTML works on a "client computer", which essentially means the computer system on which the page is being viewed. On the other hand, PHP is a full-fledged scripting language, which can be used to create the web pages that are written in HTML. You see, PHP runs on the server, not the webpage. The server is the system from which the webpage comes from.
